LSI, a research agency, led the study, conducted the survey, analyzed the data, and wrote the report. While ideal for corporate or state-level systems, scaling the seamless convenience of the SSO Portal to a truly decentralized environment faces a significant adoption challenge, as every application must willingly integrate with the central Identity Provider. For the broader internet, this results in a collection of many different SSO Portal options (Google, Facebook, etc.) rather than one universal key, which somewhat undercuts the 'single' nature of the solution.
