Pengantar
Satu minggu terakhir perhatian publik banyak tertuju pada sidang pembacaan keputusan Mahkamah Konstitusi tentang judicial review syarat usia calon presiden dan calon wakil presiden.
Sidang tersebut juga memantik kontroversi karena dugaan bahwa upaya hukum tersebut terkait dengan upaya meloloskan putera Presiden Jokowi yakni Gibran Rakabuming Raka yang terkendala persyaratan usia minimum untuk maju menjadi calon wakil presiden.
Kontroversi juga terkait dengan fakta bahwa Ketua Mahkamah adalah adik ipar presiden atau suami dari bibi dari Gibran, sehingga diduga memiliki konflik kepentingan.
Keputusan MK yang diumumkanpun tampak sejalan dengan dugaan publik, dan hasilnya memberi jalan kepada Gibran untuk maju sebagai cawapres dalam Pemilu Presiden 2024.
Bagaimanakah pendapat atau sikap publik terhadap keputusan MK tersebut? Apa kemungkinan dampaknya terhadap dukungan politik menjelang dilaksanakannya Pemilu 2024?
