Masa pendaftaran untuk pasangan calon presiden dan calon wakil presiden segera dimulai. Pasangan yang didaftarkan tentunya bisa menggambarkan bagaimana arah kompetisi menuju hari H Pemilihan Umum. Dinamika pencalonan antara lain juga tercermin dari peta kompetisi menjelang pendaftaran tersebut.
Disamping itu, karena pemilu presiden dilaksanakan serentak dengan pemilu legislatif, maka dukungan partai-partai terhadap calon-calon presiden dan wakil presiden yang diusung juga mencerminkan dinamika dukungan terhadap partai-partai yang akan berkompetisi dalam pemilu legislatif. Apakah, misalnya, dukungan partai terhadap calon presiden dan wakil presiden sejalan dengan pilihan warga terhadap partai tersebut.
Bagaimanakah peta kompetisi pilpres dan pileg menjelang masa pendaftaran calon? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, Lembaga Survei Indonesia (LSI) melaksanakan survei opini publik di awal Oktober 2023. Berikut adalah gambaran temuan survei tersebut.
